Lockdown School Closure
Update from Damian Mooncie, School Director at The Brighton Waldorf School regarding UK National Lockdown January 2021
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Tuesday 4th January regarding the current nationwide Coronavirus situation – and in conjunction with UK Government and Brighton and Hove City Council’s guidelines – the Brighton Waldorf School has taken the decision that it will not be reopening on Thursday 7th January 2021.
As with last year’s national lockdown, pupils will continue with their learning journey through our Threshold Learning Suite which, as you are aware, we created to meet the needs of our pupil’s ongoing educational and life experiences.
Direct delivery and access to the Threshold Learning Suite remains the same. It can be accessed and viewed via a range of channels including Zoom, Google Classroom, SoundCloud, the Brighton Waldorf School YouTube channel and postal services.
As ever, myself and the School faculty would like to thank all parents and carers for their understanding, support and patience during this extremely difficult and unprecedented time.
Please be assured that we will share any information on the re-opening of our School as soon as possible.
Of course, if you’d like any further information at this time, please do not hesitate
to contact the School via 01273 367300 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
