Return to School
Update from Damian Mooncie, School Director at The Brighton Waldorf School
In light of the current situation regarding COVID-19 Coronavirus and the latest guidelines from the UK Government and our local City Council, the Brighton Waldorf School has taken the decision that it will not be reopening on Monday 1st June 2020.
We will, of course, continue to with our School Open Provision for pupils of key/critical workers and supported pupils and families.
All our other pupils will continue with their learning journey through our Threshold Learning Suite which we created to meet the needs of our pupil’s ongoing educational and life experiences.
The Threshold Learning Suite is delivered directly to our pupils through a range of media channels including Zoom, Google Classroom, SoundCloud, the Brighton Waldorf School YouTube channel and, of course, postal services.
We would like to thank all parents and carers for their understanding, support and patience during this extremely difficult time, and please rest assured that we will share any information on the re-opening of our School as soon as possible.
Of course, if you’d like any further information at this time, please do not hesitate to contact the School via 01273 386300 or email: enquiries@brightonwaldorfschool.org
