The Brighton Waldorf School 2021 Ofsted Update

Dear School Community,
We are delighted to share with you the positive outcomes of our recent Ofsted Inspection Report, as attached.
Our School has made significant progress since our last inspection and we are pleased that the Inspectorate has recognised our improvements, especially given the context of working within the challenges of the Covid 19 Pandemic.
The areas for improvement that the Report highlights already form part of the School Development Plan. Now that some of the difficulties and interruptions to pupil learning caused by pandemic (the School closure and lockdown which were mitigated by the positive and successful delivery on Threshold Online Learning to all pupils), we feel energised to focus our collective efforts on embedding our strategic vision for our school.
We are proud that the Report captures the social and emotional reality of the School, that being a school place where young people are happy, confident, able to experience and learn. Where pupils can express and be themselves, where they feel safe and heard. These are the qualities that provide for a happy childhood within education and a springboard for self-success in adult life.
Our Leadership Team welcomes your questions and comments on any aspect of the Ofsted Inspection Report, and indeed any aspect of our school, which can be emailed to the School team directly at enquiries@brightonwaldorfschool.org
